What we collect, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who we are

What we collect
Only what a move actually requires: your name, your phone number, your email address, the addresses you are moving between, and whatever you tell us about what is being moved. If you send us photographs or a video of the property, we keep those too, because that is what the quote is based on.
Why we hold it
- To prepare and send you a quote.
- To plan and carry out the move you booked.
- To issue an invoice and keep the accounting records the law requires.
- To deal with a complaint or an insurance claim, if there is one.
Who else sees it
Our email provider, Mailgun, processes information submitted through a form so it can deliver it to us. Otherwise, data is seen only where the move itself needs it — by a storage operator holding your belongings, a partner carrier on an international leg, our accountant, or an authority that is legally entitled to ask. We do not sell data and we do not pass it to advertisers.
How long we keep it
Quotes that do not become bookings are deleted within a year. Records of completed moves are kept for as long as Latvian accounting and tax law requires, and then deleted.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not obliged to keep it. Email us and we will answer within a month. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija) in Latvia.
Cookies
This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies and runs no analytics. The contact and quote forms use a strictly necessary CSRF security cookie. After an ordinary form submission without JavaScript, a short-lived session cookie carries only the successful-submission confirmation; form contents are not stored in it. The site also loads nothing from anybody else: no fonts from a font service, no maps, no embedded videos and no social media widgets. The JavaScript needed by the forms is served by this website. Visiting a page here contacts this website and nothing else, so no third party learns your IP address from your visit. Information submitted through a form is sent to us using Mailgun's email service. If any of that changes, this page will say so before it does.
